I was walking around Glasgow when I saw this father and his kids feeding the birds.
Glasgow Cathedral
My first day in Glasgow this place was on my top to visit list. The hotel was several miles from the cathedral so I took to the streets. The streets of Glasgow, even mid-week, were bustling. Amazing architecture and the life in the city was brilliant. The Glasgow Cathedral did not disappoint. It was quite breath taking you could literally feel the history oozing from the walls.

Hyde Park
I love central park in New York but I have to say Hyde park is now my favorite city park. My London hotel was literally across the street. I went for a few walks through the park and found the wonderful, peaceful, haven from the city.
Westhaven Gospel Night
I saw an add for Westhaven Gospel night in Franklin, TN and decided to go when I heard that Ellie Holcomb was going to be performing. I wrote about her last year and have been wanting to see her in concert so I headed out. It was about 100 degrees and an outside concert but the sun started setting and it cooled down outside right as she took the stage. I am always pleasantly surprised when people actually sound like their records and Ellie did. She has had her talented husband, Drew, with her. They sang a handful of songs and then Ellie brought her family up on stage for one of the best moments of the night – a good old gospel song.
Also at the show was Kim Hill whom I started listening to in junior high. I had not heard most of her new stuff but she can still sing. She has an amazing voice and totally carries an acoustic show with much power and grace.
